Today Ivy becomes I.V.y as she goes into hospital for an infusion. tongue

I'm just as likely to faff around before I go there, though, so here are some pacts to get me moving:

* basic chores - shower and wash hair, make bed, do dishes
* try to get the kitchen looking sparkly
* double check bag; make sure I haven't forgotten anything (e.g. meds)

Bonus points:
* do a bit of yoga before I go

Have a good day, everyone.

I.V.y!!!

No. 1 priority: Keep mouth closed about being badmouthed behind my back. As it turns out, one of the out-of-state guys is one of those rump-kissing a-holes. Found out some of the stuff he's been saying to my boss about me that's untrue. Example: He emailed my boss saying he did all the work, when in fact he sat on his rump while I did all the work. ARRRRRR... {{deep breath - he's leaving tomorrow afternoon}} Been having conversations much like Sniper's only mind talking only to mouth. Mind: Mouth, stay shut; Mouth: But something's gotta be said. I can't let him walk all over me; Mind: you lost a job because you couldn't keep yourself shut. Put a lid on it; Mouth: But... but... I know I can straighten him out; Mind: No, you can't. If I think it, you say it; Mouth: That's true, you don't have the ability to deal with office politics.

Must do:
*Move complete: Aftermath cleanup, end-user support and re-configuration of equipment moved/changed.
*Vote
*Get to bed early. Body needs rest. The body and mind are in poor shape and immune system has tanked.

Want to do:
*The lawn... not going to happen. Feel terrible right now. Stress just pushed flare pain from 5 up to 8. {sigh}
*Find a book: Office Politics for Dummies - bet one's out there

You two crack me up. I hope all goes well with you.

So, its Monday night here 9:45 and I just finished writing the plan that I have to present tomorrow night. That is 13 hours from when I arrived at my first job this morning to when I finished working for the day (two hour break to walk the dog, eat dinner and ride the exersize bike).
Tomorrow I work at my first job for six hours then have to kill a couple hours before going to present my plan and task analysis and stuff to my boss and the family. I won't get home until 13 hours after leaving the house. So no pacting. And no tuesday chat either
Wedensday I need to do all my billing-which I haven't even started yet. Then I work Friday and Saturday as well.
(I am reminding myself that I wanted this extra contract. I applied for it, interviewed for it, and prayed that I would get it. I also am reminding myself that eventually this could mean I only have to work 3 days a week but until I get their I may be working a lot.) I WANTED THIS.
