I went to the gi the other day and he had me get a bunch of blood tests done. He aslo had a stool sample done. He said that he wanted to get all that out of the way before he started poking and proding me...he was a funny guy. But he said because of the family history he will defiently want to do a colonoskpy. I have to go back in ten days. Still kind of nervous. He was really nice but he did not really explain what these blood tests will tell me. Anyone have any insights of what i might expect next time.

I would hope he will have you set up for an upper GI series, and a colonoscopy.

Good luck :)

Hopefully, he sets you up for a CT Enterography rather than an Upper GI w/SBFT. I like the CTE better! *wicked grin*
Some people are like Slinkies... Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
