49 y/o woman.  Diagnosed 4/06 after colonscopy, SBFT, CT-scan all showed crohns. 3 months later, after pred and remicade, all tests showed no crohns. December '06 had adhesions cut through a laparoscopy. Now taking Glycolax, Ultra Fiber Plus, Florastor, and DHEA. Have become gluten-free diet per naturopath's tests.

Start writing down any possible questions you have right now and take them with you. Its help you so you don't forget to ask. Good luck~!!

Thanks Guy's,

I am unsre of what type of question to be asking? I know I am going to write down all my symptoms and everything else that is going on. But I want to get the best out of it, therefore, any suggestions would be most welcome.

Good luck Conor. The list of symptoms is a good start, I would also ask how said symptoms will be treated and if offered meds, ask about side effects etc. I know when I see my GI all my questions go out the window, even when I have written them down, I seem to be reduced to a blubbering fool, not quite sure why.
Good luck and let us know how you went.
Jo

Hi SydneyJo,

Thanks for the advice. I will defo being going in armed with a number of questions and finding out some answers I shall hope. I am just scared that they will not find what they are looking for, even though my GP blood tests shows heavy Inflammation. The bleeding always stops at the wrong time.

Conorconan1, just as everyone else has said, write down all of your questions/symptoms. I always go in with a whole list! I know it may look silly, but it takes so long to get in with the doctor, that I want him to know all of my symptoms and have all of my questions answered before I leave. If I don't make a list, I forget! Good luck to you, and let us know how things go! Blessings, Julie:-)
