You need to visit both I'm betting. I had issues with the lower left side like CRAZY five years ago. If you've read any of the stuff I've ever written, you know it was a massive infection that was putting lesions all over my fallopian tube. Its going to hurt A LOT when you visit the Gyn. But also visit with the GI to let him know. It could be something found easily with a simple CT. Also, I kept getting what my Gyn thought were cysts on an ovary...turned out that it was abscesses. I'm pretty sure all my gyn stuff is caused by the GI stuff.
But it could definitely be kidney stones. If it was a UTI (urinary tract infection), I'd say you'd be peeing a ton and would benefit from water and cranberry juice. UTIs have OTC tests now. As for the others, yep, dr. time it would be.
27/f/CD. 4 CD related surgeries: 2 resections, 2 JP drains, 3 NG tubes, many absesses (including the one my most recent surgery scraped off my ovary) and fistulas.
Currently trying to figure out hip and knee joint pain.
