Hi there,
its me again!!!
Just wondering if any of you's have ever had one of these? It is very painful, and i was experiencing some pain there yesterday with no lump, this morning I woke up with a lump its about as big as a chic pea, squishy tissue like.
I also have a cold sore on my upper lip, that is pretty bad, im thinking that it is just probably a swollen lymph node, but just wondering if this is something that ever goes along with ibd's?
Im moving this weekend, im already impacted, again, and cannot deal with another happening on my plate right now!!!
thank you for any insights,
I hope that you all have a great day :)

I have something similar but it isn't painful. It's just started getting a little bit larger recently, and I wonder if it has anything to do with humira. You don't take anything like that do you? I would get it checked out as soon as possible though. There is always a risk of lymphoma or something malignant like that..
20 years old, Diagnosed with moderate to severe Crohn's and Colitis in May of 2008.
Currently taking:
Prednisone(down to 10 mg), pentasa, bentyl as needed, prilosec, tandem plus, humira, and good probiotics
Surgery for ectopic pregnancy most likely the result of severe Crohn's inflammation in July of 2008.

Does it get bigger after you eat or chew something?  I get clogged salivary glands once in a while.  It will get really swollen and hurt more especially after I have chewed something.  I am not sure if it is related to Crohns or not, but it is easily cleared up with a short round of antibiotics.  I have also learned to unclog them myself, not sure how to explain how I do it though:)  Kinda suck the skin under the tongue until the little stone breaks free.

Been living with Crohn's Disease for 33 years.  Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, and Calcium.  Resections in 2002 and 2005.  Also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis. Currently my Crohns is in remission.

I have those too. The doc said after scanning and then biop it, that it is part of the lymphnode. Hence why it goes up and down. So at some point in time you might want to get it scan and possibly biop, but really it is probably nothing to worry about right now. As always I caveat with see your doc, but as you can see what my experience has been with them.

Hello everybody,
OH what a story i have............
It just seems like one thing after another, i cant seem to win anyway .
I was suppose to move into my appartment yesterday, as it turns out the people would not be out until midnight, and the landlord called this morning, to tell me that they ramsacked the place, and that it wouldnt be ready for a week, UGH!!!
So he is moving me into another appartment on a different floor, that people have already put a deposit down for.
On another note, there are some new symptoms, i really think that there is something going on with me. First of all, the lump under my chin, has gone down and is still a little bit tender, but my face acne wise, has broken out bad, really really bad, im getting them on my face, where i have never got them before, and they arent little either. I was 11 years old and had full blown acne, but this is really really bad, and hasnt been this bad in a long long time :( I hate it, it disgusts me. Note: I also have some blisters inside on my gums, making me wonder if this is acne, or some kind of infection or something, although it does look like acne.
The doctors office called this morning, and told me that my b12 is low again, lower than last time, and i have had injections already. He wants me to come and pick up a requisition for another test of b12, personally i dont think its going to make any difference. Not really sure what he is trying to prove. However, the last time my b12 was checked, it was 150
Thank you again, for listening to me vent and stuff, your a lot of support, which I need right now!!!!
take care everybody,
kelly

Hi Kelly glad you at least have a place to go till he gets your apartment ready. B-12 is usually arond 22 or 900 .Perhaps you should read up on it. Perhaps by having another test you can see if you now have enough.Maybe you are having some infection such as the acne because it is low. lol gail

I actually have lump/lymphnode on the back of my neck, it would come and go with my crohn's flare up's, now this lump seems like it just doesn't want to go away. There is no pain though for me... just the knowing it's there is annoying enough though.

I have the same thing I think on the side of my face by my chin. I discovered it 2 days before my wedding over 3 years ago. Talk about stressing that I had a problem with my mouth right before your wedding! It was an inflammed lymnode. It gets bigger every now and then and then gets smaller. I have all sorts of random stuff like that so I can only assume that the crohn's disease is part of that.

Hi there, its me again lol
Just to let you all know, I will be on line sparelingly, because i have moved and do not get an internet connection until the 10th of this month. I do have family members who have a computer as well, but I am pretty busy as I need to get my daughter registered for school and stuff. Tomorrow I go to see the gynocologist, so i might know a little about whats going on then maybe.
The lymph node is not gone, however it is no longer painful, thanks heavens!!!
I will try and keep in touch with everyone as much as I can, and thanks again.

I've had similar symptoms before, for me it was just a swollen tender lymphnode. No doubt from all my sinus problems. Mine usually will go down in a few days to a week or so. Sometimes for me it can also mean I have a sinus infection brewing, and some antibiotics are needed.
