Nena - your English is fine. And I speak Spanish if you want some help! I think if you are unsure of anything you are feeling, you should call your doctor to make sure you are ok. However, what you described does not sound dangerous. Could it be possible that you are getting a cold and it just happens to coincide with your infusion?

Hi Nena so glad to have you here with us and welcome to Healing Well .You can use a hand sanitizer I used it alot when on the Remicade. Since your temp is ok you probably are alright just be careful of getting colds and when you do get checked for lung infections. lol gail

Nena - I have not taken remicade so I can't help too much there. But I also speak some spanish so feel free to post something in spanish if you don't know the english words and I will try to help!

Feel better and buena suerte.
27 Year old married female law student (last year!!). Diagnosed w/ CD 4 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD. I am sort of lactose intollerant too but can handle anything cultured and do well w/ lactose pills and lactaid. For crohns I am currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day and hysociamine prn. I also have bad acid reflux and have been on PPI's since age 13. I have been through prilosec, prevacid, and nexium. Currently I am on Protonix in the morning and Zantac at night. I also take a birth control pill to allow some fun in my life.

Nena I have been on Remicade several times. I don't think its the Remicade but please call your dr and tell him what is going on. Your English is just fine and welcome to HW. I too hope you get to continue the infusions especially since its helping you. Susie

nena, i would not worry about it so much.. the chance is small and you would know it was bad. you would feel VERY bad and have pain, high fever, etc.. for your Uveitis, have you tried any steroid eye drops from the EYE dr?
