how is everyone keeping?
 
I finally got out of hospital yesterday after my knee surgery. I have to go and get a plastic replacement for my knee. A well, bang goes the sports!
 
Had my colonoscopy of thursday, went really well. Doctor is please with how the pred has been working for me. The scop got most of the way down this time! EXCELLENT! Still really actiove chrons, but we cannot have it all our own way can we?
 
I am getting a hell of a lot of trouble from work wioth regards to the Stat Sick Pay. 5 weeks into it and they have not paid me a penie yet, keep getting this it is processed and will be with you on x date,. and low and behold, nothing! If nopt paid by tommorow, I will be speaking with my Sols!

Prednisolone 50mg -Omeprazole 40mg for acid reflux - Buscopan 10mg (a daily) Remedeine 30mg-Probiotic

Conor, I'm so glad to hear everything went well! :-)    Are you back on the 50mg of Pred?  Blessings, Julie
Diagnosed with Crohn's March 2006, Fibromyalgia November 2008
Asacol 3 times a day, Remicade 10mg/kg every 4 weeks, Prednisone 12 mg, Miralax,  Prevacid 30mg, Vit B12, Vitamin D, Slow-FE (Iron), Hydrocortisone enemas
Imuran stopped 9/8/08 (possible Pancreatitis)
Paxil 40mg daily (for Panic disorder)
Xanax .5mg as needed (for anxiety attacks)

Glad the knee surgery went well. Hope your running around soon. Will you have to do some rehab on it ? Too bad we cant replace our old gut with plastic pipe.

  • Pentasa, Entocort (when needed), cipralex,probiotic,fibre supplement

Hey guys,
 
once again than ks for the support. UI am most greatful to you. Guys, things are defo on the up and up. Back on the pred at 50 but reduceing over the weeks by 5 mg each weel. I am going to get a sub drug tommorow when the GI doc calls. It is really strange wuith the knee, pain is gopne but the rehab will be a bad. I have to under rehab for three months at a luight rate, but it is better than the paibn. The stomach pains are very little guys. I a, starting to feel so muxch better. Thanks for all your support,. I really couldn't havwe got through it without you guts to support me. I am sorry it has taken a while, my PC is buggered and I am using my mobile phone which is not the best.

Glad to hear your knee and gut are on the mend. Sorry your PC got buggered though:)
Been living with Crohn's Disease for 33 years.  Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, and Calcium.  Resections in 2002 and 2005.  Also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis. Currently my Crohns is in remission.

many thanls for that. I am having a bit of trouble today with the D, but that is to be expected. No blood though :) ! I shopuld be getting my comp back on monday, although the fella that has it does not seem in a hurry to fix it! How is everyone else doing and keeping?
