I am getting a bad taste in my mouth and I just started iron sulphates and omeprazole. Is this normal? When I was on flagyl, I had a metallic taste in my mouth.

I think the bad taste is from the Iron not the Prilosec.
Been living with Crohn's Disease for 33 years.  Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, and Calcium.  Resections in 2002 and 2005.  Also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis. Currently my Crohns is in remission.

You are probably right, but I had a different iron pill before that did not make this type of bad taste.

Well I am on Prilosec too and it has never given me a bad taste. So I lean towards the Iron. Good luck!
