Fitz,
Did I see a post that says you accepted a position that starts in September? If so, I hope it was the spot you wanted, or the right fit for you. Congrats!!!

AWWW Thanks Margie!! Yes, I got the position I had interviewed for 3 times! It is one state away from where I am now and one state away from my family (that are currently 2 states away!!!) I am very excited, the salary and benefits are very generous and it seems like a great place to work. The scary part will be getting my house sold and finding my hubby a new job. I will probably have to take my bar review classes in the new state so we are hoping to move after graduation instead of in Sept. I would be able to support hubby for awhile if he didn't get a job right away but the problem is I will not be making money between May and Sept. So he needs to keep his job/benefits until he gets a new one in the new state or until I start (in Sept.)

I wanted to post a big anouncement on here but I do try to be somewhat careful how much information I put up. Though I guess if anyone realized from reading it that their firm hired me they would be reading it because they have crohns too lol!!! Not that it is a secret but I won't be telling them till it comes up naturally.

I'm a little sad to leave my current job but thrilled at the new opportunities. I think I have a lot more room for advancement at the new firm!
27 Year old married female law student (last year!!). Diagnosed w/ CD 4 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD. I am sort of lactose intollerant too but can handle anything cultured and do well w/ lactose pills and lactaid. For crohns I am currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day and hysociamine prn. I also have bad acid reflux and have been on PPI's since age 13. I have been through prilosec, prevacid, and nexium. Currently I am on Protonix in the morning and Zantac at night. I also take a birth control pill to allow some fun in my life.

PS: I totally had to surpress my jump up and down and tell the world urges because many of my class mates still don't have jobs and a friend of mine was also in the running for a position with this firm. As far as I last knew (through a mutual friend) she didn't hear a yes or no yet. I found out 2 days before thanksgiving and didn't want to ruin her holiday if this meant she didn't get the job. But - I should of thought "hey, I can go jump up and down at healing well!!!"

Congrats Fitzy!! Exciting news.

You'll get through the bar summer. It's way easier since you go into it knowing you have a job on the other end.
Hoping to stay in remission after the birth of a healthy baby girl. On Pentasa during my pregnancy, went med-free 2 months to nurse (stupid), but back on Pentasa and still nursing.

Congrats Fitzy!! I'm so proud of you. That's definitely something to be proud of, especially with the job market being the way it is. Good luck on finishing up your last semester of law school and preparing for the bar exam.
