Well, Christmas is just about over. I'm really tired and am in danger of faffing the night away and then waking, tired, to a messy house, so here are a few pacts to get me through until bed-time:

* watch the Queen's Christmas message (just finished)
* do dishes and put them away
* put away things in the Christmas basket I took to our main Christmas event
* open my last presents :-)
* put away presents, wrapping detritus and postpacks
* shine kitchen sink
* cut up kidneys for cat
* an extra five minutes tidying
* start thinking about new years resolutions

Ho ho ho! What fun! but it will be nice when it's done...

8.08pm. I've washed the dishes, dried them, put them away.

Have zero motivation and am doing everything in six-minute power runs. Five seems too little, ten too much. Ho hum.

Back soon with another update...

8.34 pm. I've cut up the kidneys and put them in the fridge & freezer, opened the last presents, and put the postpacks and detritius where they belong.

What now? Oh yes. The basket and tidying. Back soon.

9.20. Done! Amazing. The mess seemed scarily insurmountable, but it only took 105 minutes to get everything tidy again. I even swept the floor.

'night, all. I hope your Christmas was great; catch you in the Boxing Day thread,
