So last Friday I started with rigt side pain again. The thing is that it is my only symptom. I don't feel sick, food doesn't seem to make it worse. I just can't figure it out. My tummy is a bit puffier on that side, or so it seems. I do get the occassional wave of nausea that only lasts about 30 seconds but that is it. Of course I go about 6-8 times a day with D, but I am considering that normal since I was going 15-20 while I was on Cipro and Flagyl a couple of weeks ago. And this past recection was my second so 6-8 isn't that bad I think.

I saw the surgeon and talked to my GI on Tuesday. Neither is quite sure what is going on. My CT 2 weeks ago showed that my abcess was totally gone. And this doesn't seem to be the same pain, it is sharper. The pain gets worse when I move, bend or try to stand up after sitting for a while. Or when the dr so nicely pushes and prods around trying to feel something. (almost jumped off the table) It always hurts though. Because of the holidays I can't get a CT until Monday. So hopefully by Monday afternoon I will know what is going on. I am just so tired of always being in pain or something being wrong!!

I haven't had more than a few decent days since I went into the hospital in mid October. This is just getting old!!

Si is this something surgical, an abcess, or my Crohn's back already.................. I hate not knowing. I so hope the CT shows what is going on!

I have had two resections. And there are times that my right side just under my ribs will just hurt. I believe in my case at least that it is adhesions. Beleive it or not they can give really bad pain. Just a thought!

I also have been dealing with right side pain for sometime now and my doctor has done mnay different tests to see what the cause of it may be. He seems to think that it may in fact be adhesions that is causing alot of the pain. I sure do know what you mean when you say you would just like a break I have only went into remission 2 times only lasting the longest of 6 months in 3 years. I have had 8 surgeries and am currently on weekly doses of Humira as well as Methotrexate, Asacol well there is a list you get the point. It does get old. I certainly hope they find out what is wrong please let us know. Sorry you are not feeling well through the holidays

Hi Where about is your pain? Any possibility that it could be gallbladder? Hope as you say that some answers can be found to help you with this .The waiting can be tiresome for test. Let us know how things go. lol gail

The pain is just above my incision (goes from my belly button to the right 7 inches) about 3 inches to the right of my belly button. Definitely not my gallbladder as I had that out 15 years ago. If the tests do show anything I will know Monday afternoon or Tuesday at the latest.

I still think it is adhesions, but look forward to hearing what the test results say. Good luck westat!!!
