Everytime you go to the GI doctor they ask you to describe your pain....I have a difficult time doing this, maybe I'm not good at descriptions?  How do you guys describe your pain?

where it is, quality (shooting, stabbling, burning, dull)

intermitent or constant?

what makes it better?

what makes it worse?

associated symptoms? (fever, nausea, diarrhea)

does it stay in one place or does it radiate?

what time of day?

My pain is always my joints. I just point to the ones that hurt. I have never had much tummy pain except when I obstructed. Hope that helps.
