soooo I have really struggled with body image from prednisone side effects but I have been on 1 mg for 2 months now and my severe bloat and moonface is gone! (still have a little extra weight). Anyway I went shopping today and for the first time in a while I found clothes that fit and made me feel good about myself. It made me realize with this DD we should treat ourselves to something every now and again that makes us feel good because we feel bad a whole lot of the time. I so greatly admire everyone on here because I know the struggles you have(I share them too), and I know that it takes a hell of a person to cope with this thing. So with the new year officially here spoil yourselves a little and remember you are strong wonderful individuals and I hope you get what you want out of this year.

i so agree and good for you for spoiling yourself and you must be thrilled to have lost the moonface. I found the same thing when I was sick I had lost a bunch of weight. being skinny and having my clothes hanging off did nothing for my self-worth. I bought a few tiny things and looked hot instead of anorexic. that was a good choice. take care, yp

Now taking Glycolax, Ultra Fiber Plus, Florastor, and DHEA. Have become gluten-free diet per naturopath's tests.

Hi You are so right that feeling good about our selves is good for us and we need a little tender loving care at times. Glad you are feeling better about your image and shopping for a few things sounds fun. lol gail

Yes it is nice to treat yourself to something once in awhile. Glad you are finally getting off the Pred, I love when the water weight leaves and my cheeks go down. Today I took my last round of Pred. Lets see what the next week or so say:)
