If you have access to Lululemon their pants are about the most comfy (yoga/athletic) pants that feel and look amazing with a huge variety...it's Canadian made (vancouver is where their head office is/where the company started) but I've seen Lululemon on ebay being sold by americans.

Just thought I'd share cuz from time to time we have discussed comfy clothing here at SW.

I think my jeans are ok. They have all the necessary things. An easy to undo top button, non stick quick zipper and just loose enough to fall to the floor as soon as I let them go. Now thats comfy..

All is done,,or undone ,,as it where,, in route to the big event. I have been known to make the final steps with them around my ankles waddling like a pinguin. Its a save guard to protect my shoes.

Well, it's a good thing you don't have to wear coveralls or ski pants...either of those would be like a crohnie-straight jacket eh LOL!

You know ,on a serious note, I find that a tight fitting pair of pants or belt really hurts, and if I have to drive or sit for a while they seem to cause gut troubles.I think they cut off the natural workings of the lower tract. I always try to be in loose cloths when I have to drive a long ways.

I personally have no pants that I just can't yank off. Even my jeans I got big so I do not have to undo them.

That's why I suggested the lululemon athletic/yoga pants, it feels like your own skin (so comfy) and a good selection of styles...infact, they carry a mens line too.

do they carry a plus/tall line? I am six feet tall and weight 275 right now. (I need a XXL with a 36 inch inseam) I just cannot find their size ranges on their page? I guess I am blind. I would wear guy's pants if it had the inseam.

They look tight on the tummy. I pretty much get most of my pants custom made so that they are completely loose on my tummy. Any pressure on my tummy is intolerable.

Thanks for mentioning this though, because I'm always on the lookout for comfy pants.

They have a 35" inseam...for women, for men they have longer inseams.

Roni, most of their pants are low rise so they're not tight on the tummy and even the boogie pants I bought are a little higher waisted but not uncomfortable/tight at all.

Here's their size chart link...

also the link doesn't show ALL of their products, they have much more in their stores than what shows on the link.

I'm in Massachusetts and they have several stores in the local malls here. FYI

I haven't tried their pants yet, but I might now!

Hey Zanne, that's cool to know, I wasn't sure if they had any stores outside of Canada, heck they only have 2 in all of Calgary AB...just a warning though, they are pricy unless you happen upon one of their rare sales, but they are very addictive!!! I'd actually be curious to know what the same pants sell for in your area, I bought ones called "boogie pant" 92.00 regular price but I lucked out and got them for 49.00 so I bought 2 cuz it was almost like getting 2 for the price of one.

LOL no Sniper, I'm afraid they aren't like those pj's that men used to wear in the 1800's for trips to the outhouse...actually I'm surprised some IBDer hasn't brought those back in fashion for warmth and convience.

LOL Zanne, I'm just curious to know the price differences between the US and Canada as I'm guessing there will be.

Thanks for letting me know yoga, I wasn't sure if you were in Canada or not.

The boogie pants are capri length in the store near me and sell for 76 dollars the clerk said the closest in style that are long would be 92 dollars. I should have written this down cause I may have mixed up my prices, so it could be 72 and 96. Dam that age thing. For those of you who have them, quick question, do they shrink at all? They would be a bit too long for me, and they aren't really the type of pant that can be hemmed easily. I would only need them to be about an inch or so shorter, so if they shrink I would be all set.

glad you posted this. It made me notice that the store by my house has free yoga classes saturday mornings. My fave class was just cancelled and I LOVE free!
Hoping to stay in remission after the birth of a healthy baby girl. On Pentasa during my pregnancy, went med-free 2 months to nurse (stupid), but back on Pentasa and still nursing.

Hey Zanne,

Those prices are the same as here in Canada, 92.00 for the ones made with brushed luon for added warmth, they're a little thicker and the regular ones (that are a little thinner) for 84.00 (they are the exact same style)...wow I never would have guessed the prices would be the same...and the capris vary in price depending on the syle.

They are preshrunk according to the tags I have and they do free hemming (in canada at least) because I bought one pair that was reg length (31.5") and one pair in long (33") so I got those hemmed for free and they stitched them the exact way they are made originally...infact when my hubby went to pick them up for me the girl was just putting them in the bag and he says to her "aren't you gonna let me try them on first?" the girl was shocked and started handing him the pants then pulled back and said "you're just kidding right?" What a guy eh!

I say buy with confidence as I'm sure they will hem for free at your location as well. Wash them inside out and in a garmet/pantyhose bag if possible, no fabric softner and don't wash them with towels because of the fabric.
