REMISTART SAID I DONT QUALIFY BECAUSE I WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT. IM A FIREFIGHTER FROM LAFAYETTE LA AND OUR INSURANCE SUCKS. SO NOW I HAVE TO COME OUT OF POCKET $350 JUST TO GET MY REMICADE THEN PAY THE DOCTORS FEE. HEY I DONT HAVE MUCH MONEY REMISTART  RECONCIDER MY CLAIM.

Ok first of all they do usually deny the first time around just to get rid of people who are not serious. Second, please reapply. Third this is not a remistart site, so please stop yelling at us (the all caps). It would really help if your doctor was on board.

I've heard the same - that they deny everyone the first time around. I would reapply.

In the mean time, you can look into these folks -

They covered my Remicade co-pays. Everyone there that I've dealt with has been super nice and helpful.

I know how utterly beyond frustrating all this can be. You're not alone. You found a really awesome resource here at HealingWell... I think I would have jumped off a cliff a long time ago if it hadn't been for the folks here.
27f, dx'd CD July '05 after 6 fistula/abscess surgeries
(miscarried at 13 weeks, now waiting to heal before trying again)
Stopped Humira August 22nd, 2008.
Went Gluten-Free, noticing some definite improvement.

Jaco, if your doc thinks you need remicade he will work with your insurane co. Dont give up. You may want to see a rhumatoligest (spl) . A real good one in your area is Dr Lipstate...
