I have been having low grade night fevers for about a year and the dr. doesn't have a clue why. I figured I'd come here and see if anyone else is experiencing this.  The fevers start at about 5-7 p.m. and are gone by morning.  None in the daytime.  Strange huh?  I was just wondering if anybody else was a wierdo like me.

I used to get fevers and night sweats a lot over night--sometimes from the crohn's and sometimes from prednisone. Now, I get a night sweat if the disease is really active.

yep. I get fevers and also cold that results in sweats when I finally get warm. Always at night whoopee.
27/f/CD. 4 CD related surgeries: 2 resections, 2 JP drains, 3 NG tubes, many absesses (including the one my most recent surgery scraped off my ovary) and fistulas.
Currently trying to figure out hip and knee joint pain.
Have lost in these surgeries: appendix, 8 in. intestine, R fallopian tube, gallbladder, 10 in. intestine
Crohns Dx'd: February 2008.
Pentasa (and much mental screaming)

Trying to hang in there until January so I'll have some insurance and can visit a rheumy, neuro, GI, primary, pain control, and possibly a shrink so I could stop crying and living in my own lil pity party. :-P

I've been having low grade fevers for a couple months also that my doctors can't figure out, but also they don't seem very concerned.

I visit with my GI every 6 months (or sooner, if there's a problem).

Each time I visit him, he always asks, "Are you sweating at night?"  He says he asks me this because sweating can be a sign of fever (it might just be a low-grade fever that doesn't even make you have that "feverish" feel) and a fever can be a sign of inflammation and inflammation can be a sign of active Crohn's.

That's the info I've been given on night-fevers.

I run a low grade fever everyday.  Nothing over 100 degrees.  I keep saying I'll call the doctor when it gets over 100 but the highest it gets is 99.8.  I did mention it one time but he doesn't seem to be too concerned.

I used to get fevers and night sweats a lot around 5pm and over night from my crohn's which means the crohn's is very active (my case)
