Sorry, a bit off topic, but I joined Weight Watchers today. I'm frankly scared about it, but they assured me if I got sick, they could cancel my plan on the spot. I'm still technically *sick* but what I like about WW is that I can at least TRY and stick with some sort of routine. I have gained SO much from those darn steroids that I'm SO anxious to get back on track! I'm the heaviest I've EVER been. I think what I hate is I'm SO limited on what TYPES of fruits & veggies I can eat, taht I'm afraid I'll get bored of it too fast..

Here's to a hopeful success! :)I'm just glad to feel like I have a bit of control again.

I'm hopeful the "points" system will help me stay on track. My goals this week are just to drink 4 glasses of water a day. I used to drink 10 or more! So, baby steps. I'm more worried about getting healthier. And, then I know the weight loss will follow. I also have a Wii Fit, so if I can get a tad more energy, I'm going to break that bad boy in! ;) I'm thinking maybe just weekends for now, as I'm off work.

I'm excited, so scared. My mom joined too, and she keeps telling me.. "You'll just have to figure it out." And, she knows I will and so do I. I just hate trial and error. I'm thinking I might find some trigger foods again too since I'll be writing everything down. My biggest concern right now is the fiber content. That's where you get your "filling" foods and I have just never done will with fiber. Yet, I need a small amount because I have to stay soft since I have rectal disease. It's a tough road, but I'm anxious and hopeful. My first goal is 26lbs! Big goal, but I have a LOT to lose!

My son has a Wii Fit and I just bought three on Tuesday when I went to Calgary for a colonoscopy. One for my daughter, the other two for a friend and her daughter. They were impossible to find here before Christmas. Unless you were there when they came in, they could sell 50 in half an hour or in my hometown 7 in five minutes.

Good luck to both you and your Mom.
