Stopping Remicade!!!!

My GI doctor thinks its time to stop Remicade. They are switching me to Humiria. I don't have a date when I am going to switch. I hope it works good for me.

Hi, I am teddybearweiser, I am a male.
I was diagnosed with crohns disease when i was admitted to the hospital

in 1992, in Jan of 1993 I was back in the hospital for surgery for my crohns. I had part of my right colon resectioned with ilecolonstomy.

My GI doctor has me on Asacol, Dicyclomine,Imuran,Celebrex and Remicade. B-12 injection once a month.
Also diagnosed with Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis

Hi Teddy I am hoping this will be a good answer for you and that it helps releave some of the stress you have been going threw. Perhaps this will be a better answer for you ,I hope so, please let us know how things go.lol gail

Always good to try new things,, right?? Hope it does the trick and your insurance pays for it.

Been living with Crohn's Disease for 33 years. Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, and Calcium and Xanax as needed. Resections in 2002 and 2005. Also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis and Anxiety. Currently my Crohns is in remission.
