Hnnn...

Today hasn't been terrible by any means, but you know when you wake up and things are just amiss? It feels like that anyway.
I had a LOT more bm's than normal, and it was, as is the wont of this disease to be, uncomfortable/painful sometimes. And then we got to school and all was okay except I got a quiz score back in precalculus: 5 out of 20. Great...I added the class a few days late so I missed all of the lessons leading up to the quiz except one I believe, and I didn't get the book until that day since I bought it off of a student. I just feel bad that this is how it came back...I had a class last semester with intermediate algebra and elements of precalc, and I made a B-. Which doesn't sound great except I hadn't had ANY math classes(no, not even 1 and 1 make 2) since the sixth grade. Not bad in any case, but this 5 points makes me feel pretty down.

And last, I went in for a job interview yesterday and found out just a little while ago that I didn't make the cut so...back to searching.

It's just a gray day I guess...all I can do is keep looking for a job, stay mild with my diet(broth and gluten free toast with farmer's cheese anyone?), and study more...

Anyway, apologies if it comes off as complaining. I still believe things will turn out all right, but I needed a place to vent that is not my fiance's ear. I'm not telling him what I got on the grade anyway haha.

Vent away, LMills. That's why we're here.

As for your maths mark, you said it yourself: this is the first test after you joined the class late. You didn't even have the textbook until the day before the test. You wait and see. You're a superstar! Not many people could get B- in maths after not taking it for years. I'll bet you'll catch up and do well soon.

One step at a time...

Hi LM,

Too bad you're not still in the 6th grade, because then I'd be able to help you with the Math. Hope things start to look up in the job market. Anyways, you get a fresh start tomorrow. I'm sure things will seem a little better then.

Tom.

Thank you guys...I know it really isn't too much to even warrant complaining, but it is just one of those days!! I think some of it might have to do with this terrible cold spell. I am in east TN and it is freezing..and the campus I get to walk on every day is pretty big..I just hope everyone will be all right.

Monte-thanks haha...although I am glad I'm not still in 6th grade or I might be in trouble!

BM's are calming down a bit with bentyl so here is to a night with sleep :)

But again..thank you guys so much!! Your words are really soothing, and I still feel pretty ridiculous for complaining about things of this nature considering how bad things have been able to get. I just hope all of you are okay.

It's not ridiculous, LMills. We all deal with so much already - extra life dramas can become the straw that breaks one's back - so don't worry.
