Hello all.  For about a year I have been taking 3x 1200mg of Asacol a day.  Two months ago my GI added 2x 6mg of Entocort a day for a minor flare I was having (some blood and mucus in stool along with more frequent D).  The Entocort has helped and two days ago he lowered it to 2x 3mg of Entocort a day to tapper me off of it.  This morning I had bloody urine.  This has never happened before.  There were no clots, the color was just a dark orange.  I had my wife look at it, and she too thought it was blood.  My diet has not changed any.  I drink water often and as a majority of my drinks throughout the day so I am used to much lighter color urine.

Has this happened to others before?  Is it related to my medicine?  Is it even Crohn's related?

Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the replies. I haven't had any pain, and coloration has been normal since then.

I had the same thing happen to me... kinda freaked me out, but after a week or so, it just went away... so... Hopefully, the same will happen to you... :)
I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.

Hi There. Just keep an eye on it. Last year I all of the sudden had blood in my urine and it turned out to be an obstructing kidney stone. I did not have any pain with it either...but I am also a female. I do know that the blood was much more prominent in the AM because of a full bladder. Hopefully its just a weird medicine related color change but if it keeps up get it checked out quickly...just in case it is a stone on the move.
