From what I heard it is the peanut butter in products, not direct jars of peanut butter that are the problem. At least, that was the story as of last night. No peanut butter cookies, candies, etc., but you jar of Jiffy should be fine.

Is it just me, or does it seem like there's a salmonella outbreak every week now? We don't own a tv, but it seems more and more news online involves food recalls and such. Scary business. I'm gonna go live int he woods and eat acorns.

lol Sniper, I often wonder if I would ever be able to tell if I had food poisoning too, when you feel like that all the time anyway.

I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.

Hoping to stay in remission after the birth of a healthy baby girl. On Pentasa during my pregnancy, went med-free 2 months to nurse (stupid), but back on Pentasa and still nursing.

I also heard it wasn't for the jars but just products with peanut paste. Shame too since I just bought some of Nana's no gluten peanut butter cookies. I already ate two though and nothing happened so I am going to assume they're okay.

Spooky----Pecan Butter!  Where did you find that!  I LOVE Almond Butter. I haven't been able to touch pecans since I was diagnosed so maybe I can have the pecan butter! Have to admit I had put down half a package of peanut butter nabs by the time I heard about the PB too.  Still standing!  However, like Sniper...I'm off my Humira & Imuran right now awaiting dental surgery so how the heck am I suppose to know what is causing my D anyway?! eyes
