I know there are not many of us Aussies on here, but for those who are -  have a great Australia Day! smilewinkgrin
I have to work, even though its a holiday here, but it should be fun as the customers get into the spirit of the day.
I will be home early evening for the traditional Aussie BBQ though tongue

I had intended to go to the official celebration in town, but the joint pain was too bad, so I stayed home and watched The Castle and ****** Boys instead... and ate lamb... and went for a walk by the waterfront once the pain meds kicked in.

I'm sorry you had to work, Jo, but have fun at the bbq.

We are heading into our hottest week in 50 years, so not much celebrating here smhair

*sigh* The editing above is the name of a mini-series, not gratuitous swearing.

Thanks for all the well wishes. Im curious too Ivy is there any way you can spell out the name of that movie? Oh, and I love the Castle, too funny.
We had a nice BBQ (no beer, sorry vv cant drink) and work was fun with all the Aussie gear we had to wear and the heat was tolerable too. so good day all round :).
Nice to see you Andorable, let us know how you are doing!

And Happy New Year to our Asian friends!!

Jo - it was the ABC production about the 1998 waterfront dispute. Think of a colloquial word for an illegitimate child, starting with B. B****** Boys.

We don't have air conditioning and I've just rung around to see if there's such a thing as a portable cooler. There is, but it costs a THOUSAND DOLLARS and I can't afford that :-(
