Does anyone else have this issue?
Everyday my bowels are different. I'll get constipated and won't go for a couple of days, and then I will have explosive diarrhea and go 6-8 times in a matter of a few hours. Then I'll have normal stools for a few days and then the same routine happens. My doctor says I have IBS also but it's so frustrating to figure out how I'll be from day to day.
Sometimes I even will have play-do or ribbon poop and my rectum will go through spasms. That will last a few days. At first i thought it was from hemmies but it's not my anus that hurts, it's my rectum. Deeper inside. Extremely painful. I've had a resection and had the last half of my colon removed so when I come out of remission it will probably be in my rectum since that is where I was resected.
Can we have mini flares that lasts for just a few days? Or once you come out of remission you stay out of remission until medical intervention takes place.
I haven't been back to the doctor for over a year. I'm due for a checkup and I was wondering if I should bring this up.
