I get my pain meds from my family doc. GI's are notorious for not prescribing pain meds.

My GI gave me an Rx of Oxycodone for pain a while ago because he couldn't figure out why I was in so much pain in my back. I cut them in half because they are too strong for me, which is actually a good thing, as they'll last much longer. Oddly enough, when I cut my Prednisone dosage in half (from 40 mg to 20 mg), the pain went away. I also started feeling much better. I think I was on too high of a Pred dosage.
Rachael - 24 years old, diagnosed with CD in Dec. of 2004.

Currently on 20 mg of Prednisone, 2.4mg Lialda, and 100mg Azathioprine. Also multi-vitamins, and Anti-D when necessary. 1/2 tablet of 5MG-325 MG pain pill when needed

I thank God every day for an amazing support network of family, my boyfriend who has been there since the beginning, and my friends who never waver.
