Good morning, my friends!  As many of you have seen in my previous posts, I am dealing with a stricture.  I would like to do some type of bowel rest, but need energy to get through the day.  It seems that most nutrition drinks (Ensure, Boost) contain either sugar or artificial sweeteners. nono   Does anyone know of a drink that does not contain these?  Thank you in advance!  Blessings, Julie :-)

If I were going to buy a meal replacement drink right now, I'd probably go with Absorb Plus. It's recommended by Jini Patel-Thompson on her website:

http://www.jinipatelthompson.com/

If you scroll down to the bottom of her main page you will see it, but here's the link, just in case:

It's sweetened with fructose. If you read the ingredients, it explains why fructose is far better for healing than any other sweetener.

Also, consider any kind of home made broth; chicken, beef, etc. Best wishes!

EMom-Even if that was directed toward Julie, thank you! I had been looking around for something like this for quite some time. I have about 50 bottles of ensure just sitting in my kitchen because I cannot drink them(I swear they caused more harm than good later on).

Unfortunately, I don't have one hundred dollars to spend since I wanted the chocolate tub(the sample is sold out...), the mucosaheal, and the prenatal multivitamin. Ah, were it not for the never ending stream of new incoming bills.

And don't get me started on the books..even amazon can't offer a good deal. Four books at 20 bucks each does put a hole in the wallet..

You're very welcome, LMills! By books, do you mean Jini's books? And does Jini's site also sell prenatal vitamins???
