I just wanted to give a shout-out to this board. It was a tremendous help when I was dx in Nov 05 and off work for 5+ months. Everyone gave me considerable insight and recommendations and I took them to heart. That lead to a 2 1/2 year remission (oh, how I miss it!) And, more importantly, for calming my fears with Remicade while pregnant.

I just wanted to thank everyone for all the support and most importantly for putting up with my what seems to me as constant "whining" the past few months as I fail a study trial and have to look into more biologics. For your POVs, whether I disagree or agree, that give me insight on all sides of the situation.

THanks again! When you are the only one in your distant family and friends that has this ugly disease, it's hard to find others to truly understand the pain and suffering that it can sometimes cause.

Thank you all again!!!

Kaycie thats why we are here, to support others suffering just like us with this DD. I too am the only one in my family with this DD. It took them till my first resection to really appreciate that I was pretty sick. Hope the doc gets you feeling better soon.

Hugs,

*hugs* to you both! :)

And, Gail - my mom has understood and defending me endless amounts of times. So many don't believe me sometimes. It takes a hospilization, seeing my pill bag (yeah, a HUGE ziploc bag because you can't just carry xanax, norco, and other meds around without their prescription bottles!). My brother still doesn't believe me some days. And, my husband struggles to believe it too, which is hard...

But, anyway, yes, a WONDERFUL group we have here! :)
