My cousin suffers from severe bouts of pain and gas from IBD. I have Crohn's so he calls alot for support. .... Has anyone else ever experienced or heard of this before?

Thats fine. I'm asking a serious question and would like answers. Why should I be concerned about asking that?!

You have to be kidding me! I absolutlely do not promote or agree with the use of illegal drugs whatsoever. I am simply asking if anyone has ever heard of this before. Were you people born in a cave? I don't even wish to discuss the use of illegal drugs for any purpose including medical, I simply asked if anyone had heard of this. Good lord, get a life!!!!! Can you tell I'm alittle upset over your reaction!

Yellowfin, I am sorry you feel that we were born in a cave.

I have heard of this because it was a treatment suggested for the issues of nausua.

Plus it was on Murphy Brown like 10-15 years ago...remember the former vice-president held a press confrence about it.

I respect that you have had this disease for longer then I have been alive, but your reaction in telling use to "get a life" might be a bit extreme.

We have not been intentionally hiding this, like I said this is pretty common for those who had done research into treating extreme nausua. We just cannot discuss it due to legal and minor issues, even for medicinal purposes.

I'm not going to bother. I will however look for a site where real people can discuss realife issues without these rediculous reactions. Thanks for your advice.

Yellowfin,
I am sure you are upset, but since we have minors on the board we cannot discuss this kind of behavior. Plus it is not legal in every state and country and we want to have as much availiblity to everyone as possible.
This is not an unorthrodox treatment in fact it is a rather old one (and it is a common treatment for nausea) and there is Marinol. But crohns cannot be cure this way and this can have severe health effects. That is why it is mostly legalized used is for terminal cancer patients.
I hope you can understand why this topic is not allowed (due to minor partication and legal issues).
Take care,
Navy
