Hi I used to get up for a few hours and go back to bed around three too. Sounds like the house is doing good .Hope your getting a nap in today. What dosage are you on now? Lowering is always a good thing when it comes to sleep. lol gail

I actually woke up at 3 and tried to go back to sleep around 5:30... dozed a little but no actual sleep.. hopefully I can get a little nap in sometime this afternoon. I started out at 40mg and am now down to 20mg, going down 5mg a week, but I'm not feeling too well at this dose so I'm not sure if I'll be able to go much lower yet. The house is doing great! It's my mental health that I'm worried about with this stuff.. haha

So sorry you're dealing with that D--- prednisone. I did have to chuckle to myself when I remembered about the last time I was on it-I scrubbed the kitchen and dining room floor with a "Magic Eraser" at about 10:30 PM. My husband thought I had finally lost it!
Asacol 1200 mg. 3 times daily, Rowasa enema AM & PM,
probiotics, lots of hope and prayers! 52 years old, diagnosed formally 10-06. If it doesn't kill ya, it'll only make you stronger!

LOL ! Hope the presd is at least helping !!!

When I was put on pred, shortly after birth of my son, I could´n sleep all night after the baby woke up for his first feed at about midnight ! Was awake till morning, awful...My husband saved my life by getting up for him every night, I got ear plugs and slept fine :-)

Good luck, hope your dosage can be lowered soon...
