So you are the reason the snow and ice is melting. You're so hot, hot, hot! Flowers will be blooming soon. Hope you caught it early and it goes away quickly.

hey Randy, I know how the fevers suck. I go through the chills and night sweats about 3 or 4 days a month. I was in remission for many years and out of nowhere it flared back up last July. Thought I had outrun this disease and then BAM! Like you said....such is life. Best wishes
Crohns 30 years. Ileostomy for 15 years. Symptom free for 14 years until 6 months ago. Now on Remicade and iron. Feeling like a champ!
God Bless. Tony

Randy - I too am on prednisone but for a different reason. Started on 30 mg a couple days ago for an asthma episode which didn't improve as fast as it needed to. I found myself in the ER of our local military hospital yesterday afternoon getting 125 mg of Solumedrol IV and three nebulizer treatments. Scared me silly because when I arrived they started asking me if I had ever been intubated for asthma! I'm thinking WHOA THERE! Fastest, most efficient treatment I have EVER had there. So I'm thinking my bones that were borderline toast before this are most certainly done for now.

I have a mental image of two little night owls in trees, pecking away on keyboards well into the night.

Crohn's DG 2003 , symptoms included terrible joint and soft tissue pain, just met first cousin who suffers from Reactive Arthritis-explains sooo much. Followed SCD Strictly 2003-06, then modified by adding new things 10-12 days apart to avoid delayed reactions in the form of arthritis symptoms. Scope on 2-5-09 was great! Doc says no symptoms,No scope for 10 years!!!

Randy, I would come to the meeting tonight but my breathing is really bad. I can't walk the length of my house without stopping to get catch my breath. I'm wheezing quite loudly too. Called my PCP at home today and told him about my worsening situation and got fast trracked to Allergy specialist tomorrow at our favorite military hospital. Another sign I must not being doing very well when you get an appointment in less than one day.
