I see Dr Cheifetz at Beth Israel. I'm not sure how quickly you can get in to see him. I only see him once a year or so just to check in. Also, Dr Pepercorn was doing second opinions only at Beth Israel, but he was semi retired a few years ago, so I'm not sure what his status is. I also see Dr Fefferman in Stoneham as my regular GI. They trained together under Dr Pepercorn and work well as a team. I would recommend either, but if you need to see someone ASAP you might have better luck with Dr. Fefferman. I've also seen Dr Sands at MGH as a consult, but just once years ago, so I really don't have much info on him. Good luck, I hope you can get in to see someone soon.

Managing with strict low residue diet, keeping symptoms to a minimum. All test show small amount of ulceration, still have occasional blockages. But still have a great time with my 2 daughters and husband!

Prednisone, 6MP,Prevacid, B12 shots, Bentyl, Xifaxan.....

I've heard of Dr. Peppercorn, and actually just left a message for him to see if I can make an appointment with him. I currently see Dr. Sands at MGH right now. Thanks for your input. I'll see if I can go to one of the ones you recommend above.

Joshua Korzenik is an incredible doctor. He is known in the medical field for his research involving Crohn's and UC. Google him - he has some pretty impressive credentials. Good luck!
