Hi all---I'm back on remicade and too am nervous about the side effects.  They called me back and I asked them the stats on the "cancer" and "lymphoma".  They told me they have 5 reported cases of lymphoma --BUT they are not sure since lymphoma is a auto immune disease if those people who already had crohns developed it from already having an auto immune dis. or from the remicade....it was 5/5,573...Make sense.

Remicade was firsted approved for use by patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis. There have been more and longer term Remicade studies in this group of patients. You might find it reassuring to read the report compiled from data presented at the American College of Rheumatology Scientific meeting in October 2008.
