So my surgery is tomorrow and I just cant wait to have it over with.  My pain over the last week as just grown and kept coming, I really hope the surgery helps.  I am very scared and worried about the surgery and the recovery. To add to it I cant eat anything today and the steroids i take make me so hungry i could eat just about anything and a lot of it (i keep looking at my file cabinet at work and wishing it was covered in chocolate so i could eat it). turn   My wife is really scared too, this is my third time in the hospital in under a year and she has had enough of it.  She is quite overwhlemed in having to take care of our 9 month old daughter pretty much by herself for 4-12weeks until i am healed.  I realize i will be able to do little things like feed her but not being able to pick my daughter up will be really hard, especailly since she is so close to walking.  thank you to all who have anwsered my past posts your insite really has helped.  good luck and good health to all, and I will keep you posted on how the surgery goes.

Cubfan26 take a deep breath! I think you are going to feel so much better after this surgery you are going to wonder why you fretted so about it. And as far as picking up your daughter, yes you will not be able to pick her up for awhile, but you will still be able to snuggle with her some. And think how much more you will be able to do with her when you are feeling better. I pray that your surgery brings you to a long long remission.

Good luck
