Has anyone had random bruising while on Remicade?

I've had about 6 bruises in the last month, with one on my arm and the rest on my legs. I haven't done anything that would result in bruising and I've never been one to bruise easily.
I told my GI's nurse about it and she said that she's never heard of anything like this, and that it's probably not a big deal.

Is this something to worry about/a sign of worse things to come? Or am I overreacting?

I don't think the bruising is from the Remicade. At least it hasn't affected me that way. It could be from a vitamin deficiency or anemia or something else but it certainly doesn't sound serious. You should tell your doc but I'm sure you'll find it's not a big deal.
Crohns 30 years. Ileostomy for 15 years. Symptom free for 14 years until 6 months ago. Now on Remicade and iron. Feeling like a champ!

Well, I looked up Remicade side effects and bruising is listed as one. And so are hair loss and joint/muscle pain, which I also have.
I guess I'll call my GI next week.

I'm glad that Remicade has worked well for you two!

I have been on Remicade for 2 1/2 years now. It is working for me.Thank You God!!!One of the side effects is bruising. You can lightly tap in to something, think it is no big deal and get a bruise. I have been bruising so easily since I have been on remicade. I also have accidental walked into something or accidental been hit playing ball with my son and got a really bad bruise and they tend to take a longer time to heal. I also think that each person is different and what may affect you or I may not affect the next person on remicade.
