For the last 7-10 days I have been constipated, Crazy for a Crohnie, and my stomach feels like it is the size of a bowling ball.  I look 7 months pregnant- in my upper abdomen.  It hurst to sleep in any position.  NOt sure what caused this or what to do about it.  Acid reflux is acting up too.  Take Nexium, 40mg for that.  I haven't eaten any spicey foods or pizza (which can be bothersome to me).

HELP!!!!!

Anyone have any inside info on what the cause could be or remedy?

After living with this illness for probably 20 years, you'd think I would know.

Could it be some sort of flare up in my stomach organ?

Thaks,
Jennifer

It could be a blockage, that's a long time to suffer like that, maybe go to the ER or at least call your doc asap.

I hope you feel better soon, people always assume D is the worst thing ever but constipation is just as horrible if not worse in some ways.

:)

If it's not a blockage (because you are still going everyday) it could be stricturing but it's a good idea that you're calling your doc on Monday, hope things get better....(LOL, about the sig, when I was little my siblings used to tease me saying that my bum was broken because there was a big crack in it...boy they sure felt bad when I got sick with crohn's at 24 yrs old and I told them they were right about my bum being broken)...I think the only thing that keeps us sane is trying to find humor in "crappy" situations.
