Tysabri - One year later (and still going)

Just an update: Been on Tysabri for just over a year now. Had my 13th infusion a week or so ago.

Not on steroids anymore (9 months free of them).
Colonoscopy showed much improved colon.

Other than the occasional headaches, I'm doing a ton better than I was a year ago.

If you have been considering Tysabri, this is definitely an option. It doesn't work for everyone but consider me a success story.

32 y/o male. Dx'ed in 1999. No surgeries.

Current meds: Humira. 22.5mg prednisone. Udo's Choice Probiotics (30 billion).

Tried SCD, didn't work, now avoiding gluten and dairy.

I'm glad to hear this! I hope you keep improving :)
20 years old, Diagnosed with moderate to severe Crohn's and Colitis in May of 2008.
Currently taking:
Prednisone 10 mg, pentasa 2 pills 4x a day, bentyl as needed, omeprazole in the morning, prenatal multivitamin, humira every other week, and Align probiotics given to me by my GI.
Surgery for ectopic pregnancy most likely the result of severe Crohn's inflammation in July of 2008.
Diet almost completely without refined sugars, wheat, flour, gluten, high lactose dairy, and/or junk food in general.
Learning how to live again.
