What in the great great world of sports is ah goin on now. I've had many many kidney stones and just had another two weeks ago. Yes, had the urinary infection, the cipro and the tablets to return good bacteria to my system. This one left me very sore but that went away only to return this week with some odd systems. Very sharp pain in the lower center of my gut that last about an hour only to go away and return later. Lots of small BM's that are urgent but leave no bad feelings afterward. Lots of gas but it passes and I feel fine after. I dont know what will happen next or when. I go from feeling good to being in pain and back again in minutes. Whattahey ???? Any other stone chunkers have these symptoms ?

Can't help you with the stones issue (are you keeping yourself hydrated enough?) but as far as the urinary tract, try drinking cranberry juice on a regular basis to help keep that at bay.

Feel better soon Sniper!!

Thanks pb4. I am an avid drinker of cranberry juice and have been for a long time. I dont drink soft drinks either and drink as much water as I can stand but I am not fond of it and that may be part of the trouble. I have been drinking plenty of it lately and the trips to the bathroom prove it.
Lyn, you dont have to have the answers to be a great help. Thanks..

Hi Sniper Have you tried to look in the net to see if you can find any good sites on kidney stones... ? I was thinking you might come across something that would be of help and what has become of Mathew has he been around I was wandering if perhaps he found a cure or at least a treatment that helps with the stones... lol gail

HI Sniper, Boy your story sounds familiar to me. I had similar symptoms a few years ago so I saw my doc. They did an ultrasound and found that I had many gallstones. My doc said people who make stones make all kinds of stones whether it be kidney or gallbladder. He told me to back off the coffee and fatty meats and that seemed to work. I haven't had an attack for a couple of years now. You might ask about that. By the way. I would pass a kidney stone about twice a month and that went on for several years but now I havent had one in about a year. Very weird. Tony
Crohns 30 years. Ileostomy for 15 years. Symptom free for 14 years until 6 months ago. Now on Remicade and iron. Feeling like a champ!
God Bless. Tony

From what you describe, it sounds like you may be experiencing bladder spasms. If you are not better in a few days, please go to the Dr.
Hope this helps!

Thanks everyone. I'm not going to wait too long before I become a patient again. Just hate the tests. Dont think this is gall stones. I have had that before and this is in a dif. place. At least I hope its not. Had enough stones for a while.
