I suffer from constipation as well. Such a catch - 22. Too much fiber makes my stomach hurt, but then not enough and well........I take a senokot with stool softener every day. I also eat about 3 small prunes per day. Try hot beverages, exercise, a little bit of prune juice. Take lots of water and fluids too.
Last year I gave up most wheat/gluten and this helped for while, but eventually the constipation came back. Be sure to use some stool softeners. about a month ago - I got out of the habit and then literly spent 2 hours in the bathroom screaming and crying because it hurt so much. Since, then "I dont forget."
