Hello everyone:

I am feeling better now actually, and I have heard a lot about Probotics...so I went to the GNC store here and purchased the probotics after speaking with my doctor, he thought it couldn't hurt. If anyone has any information on probotics it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm taking align and they help a lot more than any others I have tried, but you may have to ask your doctor specifically for them. I've never seen them in stores.

I think drugstore.com carries Align.

I'm not currently taking a probiotic. I eat homemade yogurt, and it's already full of acidophilus.

I take VSL#3 two pills a day and Primadophilus Reuteri (Nature's Way) 1 pill a day. The VSL#3 is mail-order, but I can buy the other at a local health food store. My doc also had the "might help, shouldn't hurt" attitude.

VSL3 Is the gold standard, and superb in my opinion. You can get double strength VSL3 D on prescription.

I take Align too. I had tried several brands and none worked, some made things worse. So when my doctor suggested Align, I was skeptical. But, they have helped. I have been ordering them from drugstore.com. But when I was in Walgreens this week, they had them on the counter at the pharmacy. Same price, but no shipping charges.

The main thing I've learned is to try more than one if you don't see improvement. So strains work for some of us, while others need different ones.
