First of all, I just want to send out a thank you to all of you! I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in August of last year, after years of suffering with no answers. I have been reading this site every since then and have been amazed at how much you have all helped me get through. I don't know why it took me this long to create an account and actually start participating, but I finally have. Everytime I have a new symptom/decision to make I always come here first and am always pleasantly surprised to find some else who has gone through the exact same thing. So, thank you again to all of you...you have been helping me get through so much without even knowing it!

I also had a quick question. I am about to get my third Remicade infusion next week and I am wondering how you guys feel right before your next infusion. I have noticed that I start to feel pretty bad and a lot of my symptoms start to come back about a week or so before my next scheduled infusion. Does this happen to anyone else?

I am getting my fourth infusion in April i still don't know if it is the between remicade or getting off the pred that is bugging my stomach.

I still don't really know if remicade is working for me. It has not done any miracles for me.

Hello and Welcome,
I was having infusions every 8 weeks. and had the same problem. We moved the infusions up to every 6 weeks. That has helped some. But I still get a few symptoms before the next infusion time.It usually isnt too bad, tho. I love Remicade. It has helped me so much.Have a super day.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

Pommom, your experience sounds similiar to mine so far. They just moved my next infusion up a week in hopes of solving the problem. I also have loved Remicade thus far...here's to hoping it continues to work!

Randynoguts, I am currently living in Texas because my boyfriend is in the military. However, I am from Washington state and miss it every day!! Can't wait to get back there some time soon : ) Are you also from the North West?
