Yes, but exactly how is it irritating you? Is it your rectom feeling like you're having incomplete bowel movements and it feels like there is stool sitting there waiting to be emptied or is it your anus (butt hole) that's causing you discomfort (maybe like a burning/razor blades when you pass stool)?

when you are dealing with C, that is pretty common. have you tried miralax? I stir it in my coffee (don't shudder, everyone, it is the only way to get stuff moving for me) and life is good! you can buy it over the counter, but I have great insurance, so I have an rx for it and it is quite cheap.
if you have more questions, feel free to email me. you can find folk's email addresses in their profile if they chose to include them.
take care, yp
49 y/o woman.  Diagnosed 4/06 after colonscopy, SBFT, CT-scan all showed crohns. 3 months later, after pred and remicade, all tests showed no crohns. December '06 had adhesions cut through a laparoscopy. Now taking Glycolax, Ultra Fiber Plus, Florastor, and DHEA. Have become gluten-free diet per naturopath's tests.

You should really get checked out by your GI because often when a crohnie gets the feeling of incomplete evacuation that can be a sign of proctitis which is inflammation in the rectom and he can give you rectal meds (my favorite is cortifoam) to help clear that up.
