Thanks for the support earlier folks.  I made the two duck cakes and all the food and all the decorations, packed the car Sunday morning and made the 1.5 hour drive without any CD accidents.  And the duck cakes made it with no disasters either!  My car was "baby shower-some assembly required".
When i got to my sisters house I had to make a bathroom trip about every 20 minutes, but she has colitis and totally understands.  The only worry I had was sharing one bathroom with 20 ladies including a pregnant girl.
MADE IT!
Dx'd '90 (emergency rupture), symptoms ignored long before that, '03 fistulas and bad flagyl reactions, B12 weekly, Pentasa [until I surrender to the bigger meds]
I'm riding on the escalator of life....

Good for you for still living your life as normal as possible!! I have a hard time sharing one bathroom with 5 other people while visiting my son and his family. It's inspiring, thanks for sharing. Have a good one.

Glad you made it. Duck cakes ? my ducks make duck butter but no cakes. I'm always washing the duck butter off of my pier.
If we would read the secret history of our enemies,we would find in each mans life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility.

hey sniper...the only duck butter here was buttercream icing!  I was sadly entertained when I cut their heads off to slice the body for desserts

Duck cakes! WOO HOO! //^_^\\'... *I watch too many cartoons*

Glad to hear that you made it, Habs... That's great news! I know you were worried about it before... What a relief it must be to get that off your shoulders... And everything sounded like it went pretty smoothly. Awesome. :)
I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.
