Until recently I was on Lialda, but was taken off about a month ago because it was not working for me.  Since going off of it, I have noticed a steady decline as far as my symptoms go, which I expected. In addition to my regular intestinal issues, though, I've noticed a return of my gastritis.  I've had problems with gastritis since Spring 2007, well before my Crohn's diagnosis.  It is generally intermittent, which is why I didn't really notice that it hadn't come back up since I started treatment for Crohn's.  Within a week or so of going off the Lialda, though, it came back.
So I guess I have a few questions... Out of curiosity, does anyone know if Lialda would help improve gastritis symptoms?  My doctor explained to me basically how Lialda works and it makes sense that it might help, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything in particular or if anyone else had had a similar situation.  And also... I am going to be starting Humira tomorrow (not a minute too soon, the symptoms are getting unbearable) and I was wondering if anyone noticed any gastritis relief with Humira.  I had forgotten how bad it can get, so I'm really hoping that it does help.  Any input you have would be appreciated.

I believe the Humira has helped with my gastritis, but it's really hard for me to tell what is causing what pain.  Lialda didn't seem to do anything for me.

Crohn's Disease, Acid Reflux/Gastritis, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Endometriosis, Arthritis, Depression/Anxiety.  Too many meds to list them all.  =)
