This was discussed on the UC board as well.
27 Year old married female law student (last year!!). Diagnosed w/ CD 4 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD. I am sort of lactose intollerant too but can handle anything cultured and do well w/ lactose pills and lactaid. For crohns I am currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day and hysociamine prn. I also have bad acid reflux and have been on PPI's since age 13. I have been through prilosec, prevacid, and nexium. Currently I am on Protonix in the morning and Zantac at night.  I take xanax prn for situational anxiety (aka no easy bathroom access).

Oh dear...

Fortunately my Crohn's is under control but I have overactive bladder (due to who knows what...not a common problem at age 20) and last time I flew we sat on the runway forever and by the time we got high enough in the air that I could get up, I was DYING. Honestly though my bladder would explode. I tend to get really dehydrated when I travel just because I avoid drinking anything so I don't run into these issues...
20 y/o, diagnosed 6/2007. On Humira, no wheat or corn syrup, low sugar, low dairy.

MKL - so do I. I think the overactive bladder has to do w/ the crohns and anxiety for me. I also purposely starve and dehydrate myself when I am flying. I noticed that a lot of anti-d meds cause you to pee more. I guess all that water has to go somewhere. It sucks. I'm glad to not have to poop but if I am running to the bathroom either way it kind of defeats the purpose.
