I wrote here about a month ago.  My doctor diagnosed me with Irritable Bowel, but the lump I had in my abdomen made me go to a GI specialist.  He's wants to rule out cancer with a colonoscopy, but I think he thinks it could be Chrone's.  He did say he really didn't think it was cancer, but he did say it could be Chrone's.  IBD does not run in my family, but everything is starting to look that way.  They say that Chrone's usually starts after a GI bug, well in Dec I was throwing up like mad and Jan is when I got the lump and the constipation that comes with it.  The lump comes and goes, unfortunately it's usually there.  My symptoms include constipation and this big (pain in the A--) lump on my lower right side which sometimes aches.  I'm scared and worried and I know until it's diagnosed there's not much advise you can give me, but I wanted to write my worries down for people that have probably been worried like me in the past.

Thanks for listening (or in this case, reading)

I know it's really hard before diagnosis and all of the possibilities run through your head without any sort of reprieve...let us know what your results say and in the mean time stay as well as you can? You'll be in my thoughts.
Best wishes to you!!

Of course we all hope that your diagnosis will be something short and simple and NOT crohn's, but you know where to find us. I'll be sending good thoughts your way.
