I have just come out of hospital after a bad flare-up with a prescription for Salofalk enemas AND suppositories AND cortifoam. Does anyone else use this much, and what comes out after!!

I've used cortifoam, I've tried other rectal meds but none of them worked for me except the cortifoam. Your rectom must be in bad shape for them to give you 2 rectal meds to use at one time though, I don't know if it's common to RX 2 at one time but if you have concerns about it then ask your doc to explain his reasoning.

Not sure what exactly what you mean by "and what comes out after", if you mean what I think you mean then I'd say that you'd notice a lot of meds in the toilet with your BM's.

It was pretty bad - heavy bleeding. They put me on Solu-Medrol in the hospital. It stopped the bleeding mostly. I'm still having cramping which is hard when I'm trying to keep medication in!! My poop is sometimes very pale coloured and I wondered if that is the meds or something else.

Yes, that could very well be from the meds, was it pale before you started the meds?  Cortifoam is great I never had luck with Salofalk, never did a thing for me...hopefully the cortifoam will kick in soon (usually the worse the flare the longer it can take so be patient) but I hope you feel better soon.
