I have used acupuncture for my joint pain.  My Rhuemy had an acupuncturist in his office.  I was not a big believer in alternative medicine practices, but gave it a shot since I couldn't take any of the arthritis medicines.  It took a few treatments, but it does give me relief.  Not 100%, but a good 75 0 80%.  I would recommend looking for a "community acupuncture clinic". Do a web search for one. The operate on a sliding scale for payment, the more you go, the cheaper they are. Somewhere in the $15 - 35 a treatment in my area.  It is a little less private, but a lot less costly.  Not sure how it would work for CD pain, I've not had a great deal of success with that aspect of it.  Good luck.

Managing with strict low residue diet, keeping symptoms to a minimum. All test show small amount of ulceration, still have occasional blockages. But still have a great time with my 2 daughters and husband!
