I find it interesting that they were able to get me in for a CT scan on Monday.  When I had my first one it took them a few weeks to have a open spot.  Of course being the worrier that I am this makes me concerned.

I refused the barium enema and when my GI asked me why I told him because it was one of the worse experiences of my life.  I told him that I would prefer a colonosopy.  He said that he was ok with that because it is the beginning of my large bowel and the end of my small bowel that he wants to focus on.  And my liver.

I was able to get a really quick endoscopy recently because of a cancellation. At 4pm on a Friday I got added to the schedule for 7am Monday.

I'm currently hoping for some cancellation magic to get me in for a regular GI appointment so we can discuss the details of starting remicade. I may just call every morning to see if they have a spot!

Hope everything looks good on your test! I've been relatively lucky with seeing my doctors quickly. Monday morning I called my GI and she saw me the same afternoon! I feel really fortunate, I have friends who have to wait 6 months to get appointments. Gotta love understaffed medical facilities!

Had the CT yesterday afternoon. It was uneventful, which is a good thing. I won't know anything until Friday or Monday. I am a little worrried about what it will say. I am wondering about my appendix and if they will see anything deffinate about what is causing me to be in so much pain and swelled up.

My GI asked me if I wanted any pain medication, however when I asked him if he had any that wouldn't make me MORE fatiqued he said well.....not really. I told him I would have to think about it because I didn't want to be more wore out. It was hard for me to walk though Walmart with my son the other night without a cart. I didn't realize just how much I lean on the cart at the store....lol
