19 yr old Grandson - Dx UC 12/08;  DX CD 04/09
Apr 9/09 CD Flare
Current meds: Humira injections started Apr24/09;
Imuran 50mg started May 4/09; hydromorphone for
pain; prednisone 30mg & tapering 2.5mg/week, Cipro, Flaggyl.  Past Meds: Hydrocortisone, oxycodone,
tylenol,  Demerol,  Duiretics,   Asacol 800 & Morphine (allergy to both), vincomycin;  
Suppliments:  potassium,  multi vitamin, boost, low
fiber diet.
 
Has had problems since day diagnosed

And all the moms of healingwell patients...I don't know where I would be without her.
20 years old, Diagnosed with moderate to severe Crohn's and Colitis in May of 2008.
Currently taking:
Prednisone 10 mg, pentasa 2 pills 4x a day, bentyl as needed, omeprazole in the morning, prenatal multivitamin, humira every other week, and Align probiotics given to me by my GI.
Surgery for ectopic pregnancy most likely the result of severe Crohn's inflammation in July of 2008.
Diet almost completely without refined sugars, wheat, flour, gluten, high lactose dairy, and/or junk food in general.
Learning how to live again.

Happy Mothers day to all of the Mothers here and everywhere.
Don't know what we would do without them.
Diagnosed with Crohns in 2001
First and hopefully last Ileocecectomy 2/18/2009

Medications: Asacol, Folic Acid, Multivitamin, Dbl. Calcium, Probiotics, Protonix, Monthly B-12 injections.

Living a Great life with my Wife and my two Chocolate Labs
Hunter & Hailey.
I love them dearly.

Happy Mother's Day to everyone! I lost my beautiful Mom just about 4 mos ago. So if your Mom is still alive, be sure to let her know how much you love her and appreciate all she has done for you. To my beautiful Mom in Heaven, I love you soooo much Mama!!! Don't miss your chance......

Been living with Crohn's Disease for 33 years. Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, and Calcium and Xanax as needed. Resections in 2002 and 2005. Also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis and Anxiety. Currently my Crohns is in remission.

Yes, Happy Mother's Day to all... Nana - good to see you on here. I've been thinking about you and your grandson. May the days be brighter there!
--40 year old female, dx as UC in '04 (1st symptoms in '03), switched to Crohn's in '05, 1 fistula, crohn's colitis, limited to large intestine  --rejected (reaction/didn't work): Asacol, AZA, 6-MP, MTX, Remicade, Humira, prednisone, Tysabri
--Prochymal in Phase III study (can't wait til it's approved!)
--currently taking methylprednisolone 40mg-taper.  Started Cimzia first dose 2/10/09.  Dx Osteoporosis 10/08 started Forteo 1/27/09
--single mom to 11-yr-old girl

SCD since 01, remission since 01, occasional random junk food breaks :)
