So I had my colonoscopy today. It went pretty well. My new GI was very thorough, so it took about an hour. She even gave me some pictures. I should post them on photobucket to share ;).

The bad news: very strictured ileocecal valve
The good new: otherwise normal looking colon

My last colonoscopy showed severe perirectal disease, so this is an improvement. However, I don't know what my GI will want to do (if anything) about the ileum.

I'm glad to hear there was some improvement though!! I know some people think it's weird or gross but honestly, I love colonoscopy/endoscopy pictures...

Thats how my Ileum was. My doctor did a SBFT to determine how narrow it was.
Good luck!

Wolfie, how big of an incision did you have? Did you recover quickly?

As promised, my colon smilewinkgrin. Those little white beads are Pentasa. They must have some serious clinging power to withstand the prep! Also, the bloody pictures were taken after they did the biopsies.
