Anyone go there for any of their doctors? I am moving soon and going to join this practice probably.  Just wondering if any NH peeps out there have any experience with them.  I will probably join the Manch or Bedford branches.
27 Year old married female law student (last year!!). Diagnosed w/ CD 4 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD. I am sort of lactose intollerant too but can handle anything cultured and do well w/ lactose pills and lactaid. For crohns I am currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day and hysociamine prn. I also have bad acid reflux and have been on PPI's since age 13. I have been through prilosec, prevacid, and nexium. Currently I am on Protonix in the morning and Zantac at night.  I take xanax prn for situational anxiety (aka no easy bathroom access).

Hey Fitzy,

I'm Just south of the NH border. I don't use them but I have friends that have used Dartmouth-Hitchcock for cancer and premies. They have all had excellent things to say about it!

Managing with strict low residue diet, keeping symptoms to a minimum. All test show small amount of ulceration, still have occasional blockages. But still have a great time with my 2 daughters and husband!

I have a couple of friends who are in the general area of Nashua. One who has CD, one who has UC. I will try to find out if they use Dart-Hit. I have a feeling they both use Saint Joe's, just from our conversations, but if I can find out any info I will.

Dr. Corey Siegel heads up the inflammatory bowel disease center at Dartmouth Hitchcock.  He speaks at IBD conferences, so he seems to be on top of the latest research. He seems to subscribe to the school of thought favoring the strongest meds, first.

He appears to be very caring and intelligent -- of course, no doc is perfect, but my daughter likes him. He is great at using email to communicate, and we have found him to be very responsive.

I believe one of his mentors, Dr. Richard Rothstein, heads up gastroenterology at Dartmouth Hitchcock. We thought he was great. He did my daughter's colonoscopy, and I loved how he said, "We don't treat THIS (pointing at the pics), we treat the PATIENT."
